Kupuri Beach Club
Pacifico Beach Club
The Pacifico Beach Club features a children's pool, play/climbing structure, massages, showers, adult pool, full service restaurant and breathtaking views of the famous Tail of the Whale island green and Pacific Ocean. This beach club is filled with family friendly amenities, but also offers adult favorites like a sunset-facing bar that's popular every night. Pacifico has undergone excellent recent menu changes at their restaurant, although we found some of our longtime favorites on the menu during a recent visit. We highly recommend grabbing a casual lunch here, or reserving a table for a romantic sunset dinner one evening. Pacifico features an adult pool facing the Pacific Ocean and next to the club's restaurant, plus separate locker rooms with showers, and spa services nestled at the back of the beach club for a tranquil experience. Around the corner is a delightful garden area featuring a large playground and a separate children's pool surrounded by lounge chairs. There are bathrooms conveniently located by this family pool, plus ample seating with tables in the shade for families who need a break from the sun.
Hacienda Beach Club
Hacienda Beach Club is a few steps from our condo, and offers a hot tub, pool & lounge chairs, and direct access to a great surf/SUP beach. It's a great place to gather with other families staying in the Hacienda de Mita property and enjoy the large pool. As of 2024, poolside food services are available at Hacienda de Mita Beach Club via one of the local restaurants in town next door. Menus and staff are available to take your order, and food is delivered quickly. This is a great place to hang out if you have a late flight and need a place to stay for a few hours before heading to the airport at the end of your stay. With food/drink service options, lots of shade, restrooms and loungers, it's easy to spend your last hours in paradise poolside, and then easily get ready for travel.
The spectacular remodeled Kupuri Beach Club will provide hours of entertainment for all and especially for teens with a teen game room, a children's playroom and shallow pool, a gorgeous serpentine pool, a beautiful boutique, delicious food served lounge chair side or in the gourmet restaurant, and a sports rental equipment booth including a Hobie cat for sailing, boogie boards, paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, kayaks, and other activities. A recent addition to Kupuri Beach Club is Hector's Kitchen, which was one of our favorite restaurants in town of Punta de Mita for a number of years. Forbes Magazine recently reviewed this move and noted, "Punta Mita is Mexico's Newest Culinary Destination" based on this and some changes to the menus at the St. Regis as part of their 15th anniversary update. We're most excited about Hector's Kitchen, having been fans of Hector Leyva since he was at the Four Seasons Punta Mita. We felt the only thing missing at the previous Hector's Kitchen was a view, as it was located in a strip mall in the town of Punta de Mita. The view now matches the excellent food, as it's set above the Kupuri Beach Club with ocean views and a palapa-style roof.
Sufi Beach Club
Sufi Ocean Club offers a salt water infinity pool--refilled daily--and a palapa snack shack with food from Sufi Restaurant. Sufi beach club has a relaxed vibe and is smaller than Kupuri or Pacifico, but has poolside loungers in the sand, views of the Punta Mita pier, daybeds and outdoor showers. When the waves are calm, we've paddle boarded from the El Anclote surf break in front of Hacienda de Mita to the pier and waved to our friends spending their day at Sufi beach club. We've spent many evenings at the Sufi restaurant enjoying the warm breezes and ocean views, and Sufi beach club is a favorite way to spend the afternoon.
El Surf Club
The newest Punta Mita beach club is El Surf Club, with soft sand, perfect waves, & restaurant with bar. El Surf Club is located at La Lancha, a well-known surf break and surf lessons are offered by the resort. El Surf Club is a 15 minute ride from the Hacienda de Mita condos by golf cart, so be sure to start with a full charge before heading to this beach. We've loved the tacos here, and always enjoy the towel service and attentive servers who take care of our every need. This beach club focuses on the ocean and the beach, and does not include a pool. Throughout the restaurant and beach club, you'll find a sandy floor which adds to the casual vibe. However, only the bathrooms have a solid floor, so El Surf Club isn't ideal for guests with mobility issues or for strollers. Note: effective January 2023, El Surf Club has implemented a daily food/drink minimum for guests. The cost is $50/day per adult and $25/day per child.
